Leadership and Facilitation

Our Leadership Programme also uses high performance teamworking skills. This programme examines and gives practise in using additional techniques to motivate and empower people to give discretionary effort - that extra contribution that makes the difference between an average and an excellent performance.

All participants have the opportunity to observe others and to personally lead a team in planning and executing tasks. Individuals receive coaching and feedback on successes, on which to build, and areas for improvement, together with
help in planning those improvements. Individuals who have the ability to facilitate and help a group of people achieve the results they require, are a valuable asset in any organisation.

The Facilitation Programme builds on the team working skills and focuses on those needed to be an effective facilitator.

  • Methodical approach

  • Setting, clarifying and agreeing aims

  • Managing ideas

  • Recognising and using group members' skills.

Participants are given a refresher in teamworking skills and then have opportunities to facilitate groups in planning and carrying out a task. Individuals receive coaching and feedback, and during the workshop develop their own manual and practices for effective facilitation.
